PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING AN ADOPTION APPLICATION:

Please make sure you complete this application for adoption fully. Missing information will slow down the processing of your application and may result in the rejection of your application.

Please remember that we are an all-volunteer group, and be patient as we process your application. Turnaround times vary, however, we will complete the application processing as quickly as possible. **You should receive an email confirming your application within 24 hours of submission. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam folder and/or add rescuerapps@gmail.com to your contacts to allow our emails regarding your application to go directly to your inbox. Please allow at least 2 business days for us to fully process your application.

We require all applicants with current pets to provide the veterinarian contact information for where the pets were most recently seen and received services. We speak with veterinarians and will check to ensure your current pet(s) are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, and currently on heartworm and flea preventative. If your current pet(s) are not, please make an appointment with your vet to have your current pets taken care of prior to filling out an application for adoption, as we are unable to approve homes with pets whose vetting is not up to date. If you use a mobile clinic, you must provide us your own paper documentation as they do not keep patient files. Please email the proof of current vetting to rescuerapps@gmail.com as soon as you submit the adoption application so it remains linked together.

All dogs and cats in an adoptive home should be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason that they cannot be. We will verify all medical diagnoses with your vet. Animal rescue groups are dedicated to combating pet overpopulation.

If you rent your home, we will need to speak to your landlord and confirm that you have permission to have the dog in the home. All applicants are required to comply with the policies and procedures set forth by their landlords in a timely manner, preferably prior to adoption in order to ensure the stability of the home.

We work on placing our rescues in the best home for them, so we cannot promise that you will be approved to adopt, or approved to adopt the dog that you apply for. We are committed to working with our adoptive families and our foster homes to match our foster dogs with the appropriate home.

We appreciate and thank you for considering a rescue dog as an addition to your family, and look forward to helping you with your adoption decision!
